I have also owned the Viper, and agree the it is an awsome hitting ball, but was all beat up, so i purchased The carbide pearl, in my mind it hits harder then the viper, my first game with it was a 270, with my avg of 219 the ball is really awsome, i hope this helps with some of your questions
