Possible names and behaviors:
"Board Splitter:" Solid "carbide" cover stock with a mass bias weight block (a dense nugget shifted to make an "off-set" weight distribution). Should be a Low RG early rolling ball designed for heavy tournament oil.
"Power Saw:" Pearlized carbide cover stock with the same weight block as the "Board Splitter." This ball should be ideal for medium-heavy conditions.
"Skill Saw:" Pearlized high polished conventional urethane cover with a medium RG weight block. This should be a cover-heavy ball. This ball is ideal for scorched lanes and as a spare ball that will diflect for baby splits on reasonable conditions.
NOTE: A buddy of mine has been blowing people away with his "soccer ball" from STORM. He shot 279 a week ago and had the first 8 with it last night! I don't know what that ball's cover is but it certainly has enough ass on it to roll from the 4 board to the hole with authority. God I wish I did this for a living!
